Agreed you can buff back to a sheen/satin look. I want gloss, just think it looks better than the kinda matte look a lot of people go for. Horses for courses. I probably wouldn't slap on 3 coats of tyre gel on an Aston or a R8 ect... they suit the matte "new tyre look"

Too satiny. Sheeny. I like shiny. Megs endurance seems to last and doesn't sling anytime i've used it. Yet to find a better shiny look tyre dressing that lasts.

Colorado red is lovely in the flesh. Car needs a little bit of messing with. New plates, remove the stripes and keep it tidy. Good choice, hope you don't miss the chuckability of the clio too much.

What JD said. I always say people maybe expect too much from a DA. Too get to a rotary level of performance from a DA you need to be a pro imo. Keep practicing though. Poorboys blackhole with a DA on a finishing pad will add something to your paint no end. I even have a bottle for sale!

If it's halfords then go with srp by hand twice if you have the time make sure you don't miss any parts then get some wax on there. Egp is like a sealent and will only add some protection not enhance the finish of the car, that's what the srp is for. It's a shame you can't wait on products...

You can order an even smaller bottle of the brite gel that comes with a sprayer so no harm in trying it. You won't be dissapointed. Oh Richy look for my glass cleaner thread on there. I don't think the "Detailers" were impressed. The stuff pwns all.

The srp will strip everything back product wise, it's a good hand polish but imo there are better products out there. It'll stain textured trims, it's dusty and dry. Imo it's not actually an easy product to work with. I'm also not an egp fan as again there are better products out there...
