When you start your car the TC / ESP is automatically on by default , the light on the dash is off . You want to turn the TC off before you set off ? Or am i reading this wrong ? If so , just turn it off before you actually drive away , the light on the dash will come on . Bobs your Uncle .

Shopping and dining with me is an absolute blast ;) I'm always open to new ideas , but in the case of the G1 , i think i'll just stick with something that i've tried and tested and does exactly what i want at a relatively low cost and ease of use :D
I'm not missing the point at all . I thought it was self explanatory what i wrote . The G1 wasn't effective until 50mph and above , which ok , i already knew . Maybe i expected too much of the product that it " might " start to bead at lower speeds , like the Halfords own , which starts to bead...
I know it's stated that it only works at speeds of above 50mph , like i said . Mine started beading ever so slightly at around 45mph . But i did expect maybe there would be minimal beading maybe around 30 - 35ish . Personally pound for pound i think the Halfords own rain repellent is better...
Thought i'd give the Gtechniq G1 a try and tbh i'm not that impressed . The windscreen was properly prepared with the G4 polish and layered 3 times with the G1 leaving to haze between coats for 15 mins as per instructions then removed with the G2 . I know it's designed to work at higher speeds...

+1 . Thats what i always do for the first few days , gentle breaking with my left foot while still on the gas pedal . It always seems to bed them in nicely :D Plus i always run a bit of new fluid through whilst the wheels are off , just to get out any air that might have built up in the system .
There are " 2 " aboves , lol . At the end of the day it's down to personal preference . Like i said , i'm more than happy with my set up so it's what i would recommend if somebody asks . Someone running HC's with DS2500'S might be happy with theirs and recommend that setup . Each to their own ...
+1 . I thought they were a sh!te tyre in the wet . Personally i'd go for Uniroyal Rainsports 2's . They stick to the road in wet and dry weather . Bearing we live in a wet climate and if this year is anything to go by , it's getting wetter .The Rainsports for 15's are only cheap , for example...
I've not experienced any noise or horrible rumbles with mine using the 1144's , they did squeal quite a bit when new , but i knew the 1144's were prone to doing that , that's something i could live with . Maybe the noise and horrible rumble was down to the DS2500's ?

According to James , he followed the instructions and the cleaner basically did bugger all , it was the conditioner that removed the majority of the dirt . I've never seen a leather cleaner that you use with water ? If it was an APC , yeah , it would be watered down .
