I was rather surprised at how good the OE system sounded, manufacturers don't really make exhausts like that anymore.

I wasn't comparing it to anything Ian just mearly stating that it sounded great. Considering the OE exhausts pops and bangs an aftermarket had a lot to get right.

All paints are watered based now Roy. You only have to look at BMW to see what water based paint does for orange peel.

Funnily enough there is a black R8 for 70k on PH. Looks fricking better than those 2!

That's a big of a throw away commet from you Roy. They aren't bolted together the same way, the engine will quieter and from my experience the doors are slightly better built and with more sound proofing. But again the clio 3 isn't as old as the 2 so time will tell if it holds it's own in...

BMW paint is very orange peely.
