^^^ It's the spare wheel " well " that's in the way not the spare wheel . You'd have to chop it out and weld in a plate , not worth the hassle .
Yes , the 182 exhaust manifold does offer a bit more power over the 172 . It's a popular mod .
The type R ariels look crap imo , the base is too big for the Clio .
If you go abroad this year , check out some cars there . They all seem to have smaller ariels than UK cars .
I borrowed mine off an Opal Corsa in Menorca :approve:

Don't quote me on this . But i'm pretty sure the Renault headunits are about £300 ish . You might as well get yourself a decent aftermarket headunit for half that price .
So do what i did . Rang Telesat northwest in Blackburn , local sat installer and had in installed in less than 24 hours for the same price Sky is offering .
Same here in Darwen, 3 month waiting list for existing customers . I rang a local sat / tv shop yesterday and they came and fitted it this morning for £79 , same as the Sky offer . Happy days :) Also put me a quad Lnb on some i'm gonna run 2 cables to an extra Sky+ box and use it as a freeview...
All sorted now . Local Satellite / tv shop is coming in the morning to fit it for £79 :) I'm not waiting 3 months for Sky to come and sort it out :dapprove:
Thanks for the info . Now to find a decent " New " Sky+HD box . All the ones i've seen on Ebay cost more than sky are offering at the minute :dapprove:
Setting it up's no problem , i just thought sky would frown upon a DIY installation as they are missing out on some coin .
Looking at Comets website , you have to purchase a HD ready tv to get the box at £29 also if your an exsisting customer you "have " to take the multiroom deal . It's a bit of a con if you ask me .
There's a 3 month ( approx ) waiting list for existing sky customers . It seems once sky have...
^^^ They try and sell you sky multiroom as thats an extra £10 a month on top of the basic price of the box / package .
I'm on skys books to have sky+ HD installed i'm an existing customer and they wouldn't waive the £30 installation fee .
I doubt you'll be able to install in yourself as...
Really ?? Thats news to me . I know the PE2's were supposedly designed for the 182 but as for the Contis being made specifically for the 172 cups i've never heard that before .
According to Guy from opieoils , give the engine flush a miss . Thats what he told me anyway . Just use a good fully synthetic 5w-40 oil .
Spark plug interval maybe 5 years / 72 k but i wouldn't take that as gosspil . I had to change mine on my 172 at only 30k as it was losing power below 3k...
^^^ I disagree . Seal it then wax it . Wax offers more protection from the elements , bird sh!t than a sealant does . Don't go overboard on silver as you won't see alot of difference between the high end waxes and cheaper ones .
Jeffs is good sealant , so is Chemical guys blitz sealant ...
I've had a snapped bleed nipple and removed it easily with a stud extractor , with the nipple being a soft alloy and already having a hole in the centre its a piece of piss ...
Amber is exactly what it says " amber " as in the colour amber or as in the colour of the indicator bulbs . The standard sidelights are slightly yellow in colour compared to the xenon headlights .
Personally i'd keep clear of Toyos , they were absolutely sh!te in the wet and as we live in a country that typically has a wet climate i'd avoid them like the plague .
Obviously it's down to what you can afford and you should go for the best your budget will allow .
If your sticking with...
195's are standard on the 172 . Like you have read , new tyres always on the back . 205's will be fine on the back and in theory will offer slightly more grip .
As for 205's being better than 195's it all depends on the brand of tyre . Michelin PE2's are standard on the 182 and are still the...

Do a search . No other tyres are like Michelin PE2's , if they were we'd all buy them instead of the PE2's .
If you need them tomorrow you've almost no chance that you'll find somewhere that has them in stock , they usually have to be...
