My 172 box also crunches like a b**ch in 3rd, I managed to get a 182 box from ebay for £250 hoping to pop it in, but heard a few stories about the bearings breaking etc so it's still just sat in the garage. RichMmc had his rebuilt by yozzasport and seems happy.

Phoned up the stealers to order a new TDC sensor, I know there is a new design that includes the sensor, then an addidtional part of wiring loom, well the entire lot came to £36? People say it's about £50 for each part on here, anyway i can check it's the right part when i go to pick it up?

My dads been driving for over 30 years and has never had a new clutch in a car, honestly. In the last 10 years all his cars have seen 100,000+ miles.
