Roamer menchioned when he first got his fitted, it jumped out of 5th or reverse a few times as he didnt realise he had to push it round quite so...
I had Standard discs and pads on mine.. Jas has drilled ones (i dunno.. special expensive ones) and he said mine were better... but its upto you really.
I would drive it... a couple of times maybe. And give the body work a good look over, Also take someone who knows valvers with you (if you can) . Ask about cambelt change and all that stuff.. service history.

I had this problem in my 1.4 RT, i would fill it up, drive 3 mins, and it was empty again, and my temp gage was on the red line.. i filled it and got home asap.. all it was, was the pipe from the water to rad (i think) they just replaced it.. job done.. dont worry too much!! cost me £40.
