Just view the exif data, not sure if there is a quick way to do this on flickr / photobucket
You can also do this:
Save the image -> right click on the file -> Properties -> Summary -> Advanced
I went from the 350D to 450D and happy with the results, the big screen on the 450D is a big plus imo. Make it a lot easier to check if it's in focus when previewing pictures.
As said above the Nikon D60 is more on par with the Canon 1000D in terms of features and price.
I have the Tocco and it doesn't have the best features but does the job.
I like the touch screen because you can just use your fingers, no stupid stylus.
Only annoying that it must have been designed for people with really bad eyesight cause the text is massive!! You need to manually zoom out...
Not sure about Nikons but with the Canon you can go to the menu and choose to 'shoot without card'. You can then take pictures and review them but obviously won't be able to save.

Have fun...
Nice wee camera
1. You may be able to take pics but will need a memory card in it to save them
2. Yes, use auto mode until you get comfortable with the camera and then start playing about with different settings
3. Definitely use a tripod and use a remote to reduce camera shake, if you don't...
