Just been getting quotes for getting the cam/aux belt done on my 182, amazing how the price varies! Went to 2 Renault garages and got £695 and £473! Sure I got a 10% card for Arnold Clark lying around somewhere as well...

Will be due a service and aux belt at 36k, if it's over 5 years you'll need to get the timing belt done as well.

Picked up my old mk2 for ~£2k a couple of years ago so if you're thinking of spending that kind of money I would start looking at mk2's. Will be plenty to choose from and will be safer than the mk1.

In the 182 the headlight washers spray automatically when you spray the windscreen and the lights are on

I want to get an oem splitter but refuse to spend that much on a bit of plastic! So got a £5 megane job on for now, looks 'naked' without any splitter
