Thanks dude :D ive just bought a pair of 172 skirts from someone on this forum so thats one of the first steps, next on the list is a good set of rims, im thinking the rota slipstreams atm or maybe turinis if i can get some at the right price. Definately gonna have to lower it at some point, not...
Hellz yeah that looks so sweet! Im totally loving the porsche wheels and roof, loving everything about this car really! Looks like youve put a lot of time effort and money into it!
Yeah im starting to think some of them could be awesome, i love the slipstream http://www.rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=37&SubCategoryID=3&RangeID=37
and also the gt3

im thinking either of these in 16"s? my dad...
Yeah must admit im leaning towards 16s. If i could find that style in black or anthracite in 16" id be on them like a tramp on chips! Maybe some rotas would work?? www.rarerims.co.uk
While im on the topic, just found these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-ALLOY-WHEELS-RENAULT-CLIO-98-05-1-2-2-0-4x100_W0QQitemZ130345139626QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET?hash=item1e592cfdaa#ht_1902wt_941
Any opinions? Also would it be better to go for 16s or 17s?
Haha sounds about right dude. Not slow though are they? The old colt gti i used to own was supposed to have 126bhp and it was rapid but my clio isnt much slower at all!
Looking very sweet. Im still tempted to go for a similar style. Dont suppose you'd have any idea where i could source the bumpers and alloys? guess ebay is the best bet?
Haha i dont think i could live without a car for that long! A mate of mine just sold his mint colt 1.8 gti as he's going travelling around Australia, i think hes mad lol.
I got it from a uesd car dealer in Whittlesea near Peterborough, i forget the name of the place. 80k on the clock and in good nick for £2500 so not too bad i thought, starting to get VERY tempted by a 172 though as older ones seem to be not much more expensive. just insurance and fuel costs...
Haha i know the feeling! The car i changed for the clio was a mitsubishi colt gti so my insurance has come down, but it was 20 years old and rather tatty! Id put up a pic if i knew how :P
4 months is a while to wait! Sorry to hear it mate!
Not all colour coded atm, got some black plastic bits around it but may think about that for future! I noticed youre from Cambridge, where abouts in cambs? im near there myself.
Im tempted to become a paid member lol, just forking out 10 quid is the hard part when i earn minimum wage :P
Haha wouldnt want to p**s you off dude! Im thinking the first plan should be alloys but dont know whether to go for renault originals (ie 172 or 182) or some aftermarket ...
