So, I have a feeling my FK coilovers may be slightly uneven on the front with regards to the damping.
Is this something I can just change myself? I was thinking just wind them both to as soft as possible, then go say three full turns tighter on both, go out and test, then repeat?
Is there more...
It's just a case of finding a mk2 ph1 non sport, ideal an RN or RL model, they should have manual windows, take out the whole window mech (really easy, just a few bolts), take a few photos for reference (as to where the holes were drilled etc) and replicate it.
If you ask member Kerry-W on...
It's exactly the same as non electric. You might have to drill a few new holes in the door skin, but I'm sure it'd be very easy as long as you had a manual window car to match.
Got a link for the gear gaitor?? It looks much nicer than mine. As far as I'm aware, the lower spec ones were grey, yours looks great though.
Danny how much do you charge for matched inlets?

Perhaps you should offer them your services (at a greatly inflated rate ;))
Ok, so some constructive comments from me, as it seems you haven't got many of these....
You've done some good bits, and some bad, so here goes:
I'd remove all the orange, except maybe the filler cap and a few orange stickers if you're really set on having orange as a theme try doing some...
....how much do they go for?
One question though, all of these who've gone and done it themselves, how did you time it up etc? Take it somewhere or buy the tools??
Oh god, I think I'm going to buy one... Buy the shell before xmas, get it all ready, find the engine after... I'm about to move into a house with an empty garage too...
I'll be contacting you Patrick ;) (you're done for it now)
What I want more than anything is the learning curve tbh.
If you take/find a pic mate, people will be able to give you an order of parts...
Alternatively, a lot of other shocks will be very similar, so you may be able to find an image of one of those.
