Oh yeah forgot they are a whole pedal assembly not just a case of connected to a wee wire, my bad. Possibly still catching on some sort of carpet or something? Or as suggested, a new pedal unit would be a good idea if you can get one.

I think its just the clunk transfering through the pedal tbh mate, it doesn't seem to depress the brake further, you can just feel it thats all, I imagin you could feel it through the floor/steering wheel/all sorts tbh. I was just trying to describe what I could feel.

Try cleaning your throttle body out first, also check down where the pedals are to make sure there is no carpet or your mats catching on it.

Pick up some ph1 or ph2 172 wheels, both will sort it well and neither are that expensive at the moment :) I'd be interested as to how nice a set of wheels, springs and a "Magpie Clean" can make this wee thing look. Oh and an RS grille :)

Need need to get under the car, remove the two plastic covers on either side, (one torx on each side and then they just clip off) now you can undo from the top. This is if you don't need to replace any of the frame etc, just the seat.
