Ya cheeky b*****d ;)
I do love the ph1's, the ph2 interior is a whole different level tbh, but if I buy a ph1 I'll be making a lot of changes as I said :)
Looks a nice motor, but I'm looking for something a lot more standard and a lot less track prepped.
Thanks anyways :)
This was exactly my plan for the car tbh, spoke to JMS and got some prices etc and for 2.4k it could be sweet as.
I do love the look of the ph1's though Craig, I would be making it a ph1.5 tbh as it'd be having a cup or vee spoiler, ph2 side strips and a ph2 rear bumper and possibly a ph2 dash...
Phone your bank, explain the situation, say they are charging you more than agree'd, as this is effectively theft, the bank will sort it for you, Lloyds did for me with a credit check company :)
Right, the time has come, the 1.2 is going up for sale just before the new year and I'm wanting a 172, whether it be ph1 or ph2.
I have a budget of 2.5k but this could go up a touch if necessary.
All models/miles/colours considered.
Been looking at yodi's ph1, but it'll need some money for...
Rossy I won't be as its easy to get to the place from mine and I'll have the missus with me so don't wanna wake her up even earlier than needed!!!!
Is charl coming?
Re: The PH1 172 Aprreciation Thread.
Wheels look bang on now Rob, not sure why but I have got very used to them and like them a lot.
What was the ph1 mini meet about this morning then chaps? 'Out interestig?
Can't wait to be part of this thread! Need.... Car...... Now.....
We've all been there, out without a nice camera and see a moment we'd like to capture, so out comes "the phone".
Feel free to add stuff you randomly capture in here, and if you really want some past stuff... but try to keep it to new ones :)
Caught this this morning with the iPhone on the way...
Can be got off easy enough in the morning mate, most products like tar remover etc should take it off easy enough.
Bit random though? What kinda of paint are we talking? Random overturned tin of emulsion? Or a big spill of road painting paint?
Sit in the boot daz, get a mate to put the hose on the car nice and close up, do a bit at a time, leaving 30 secs or so inbetween each one.
Making sure he only does a little bit at a time you'll figure out where its coming from roughly then have less surface area to try to find it. :)
Can we have a confirmed list for this please???
As people seem to forget about things, try to contact anyone involved (if you have phone numbers etc) before fri night and we'll see how we're doing for attendies....
Confirmed

Just to let you know, only wanted to fit mine as the centra locking had packed up and this seemed an easy way to remedy this. :)
I had mine fitted, not thatcham approved IIRC, but its a nice cobra system, for 200£ (cash ;))
Tried this, knew not enough, failed hard, ended up having it done professinally, now I'm 99% sure I could fit one myself, VERY easily, typical eh?
I have one you could buy in the loft if you want it?
Got potential that, only thing I'd say about your plans is considering not tinting the windows and lowering it instead ;)
Oh and colour code the black plastics if you wanna go one step further
Totally fine with me Mark, as long as I havent gotta drive down that bumpy ass road you was moaning about, I dont think my -60 springs would appreciate it, much like my back.
I have an electric one in my loft I'm selling, built it about three years ago not used for like 2.5 years, loved it to bits, its got a scooby shell, in pretty damn good nick.
Just incase, ya know ;)
Funily enough, quite similar to the above :)
