Is there a reason you'd undo that one then? Does it pull out when you undo it? He said it just seems to twist back and forth and do nout??
What way should it be to be open? Inline with the pipe or at right angles with it?
Which of all of the above methods would be best?
Once again sorry for...
Should that really be it? I don't understand why it's not cooling.... He'll give a load of things a go tmrw as I'll tell him these suggestions...
What is this thing that turns 90 degrees and back again? Sounds like a stop valve like on plumbing stuff etc?!?!? Hope that doesn't stop the coolant...
I need a proper lamen's explanation here mate, I'm not with the car, nor is it anywhere I can get to it, my friend is by no means a r****d, but has never done anything on a car, but he did manage to find the three nipples... lol!
What happens if if there is air near thermostat then mate?!? I...
I'd love a ride down steve, my shed will not be worthy, it was so pretty! :(
Ah shame mate, have to have another soon then, weather will be picking up soon, prime excuse!
Didn't know that or see the thread, interesting actually.
Cheers for that nugget of info.
I'm sure you could pop down to someone on here and have it looked at?
Ok, I'm guessing this question can be answered by any engine guru's as i'm pretty sure its not saxo specific....
A good friend has a 1.1, 2000, saxo, and the other day accidently didn't pull the filler cap back on the coolant, halfway down the motorway car overheats and coolant has splattered...
As i've said, very hard to tell what it'll do, but it'd be VERY interesting to find out, espec for people with non sports looking to improve handling/ride height as sport suspension often goes cheap on here.
I can't see there being any major problem Nick. I'd go for the just filing one bolt, the top one preferably...
The easiest way to see if this fits would be by trying it tbh mate, just get one of the front's and go for it. Put one bolt in, and see if its a case of just needing 2mm more to get...
Disconnect battery, simples, plugs for airbags are under the seats mate.
As for fitting them, it depends if you are fitting them to your runners, or with new runners, new runners is an under the car job, onto runners is not and is very easy.
Yeah mate they are essentially just stickers but they are really quite thick and hard wearing. The quality is very good. Expensive for what they are but they protect the thing and look pretty damn good if you ask me.
Link above.
Sand like f**k mate, whats the harshes paper you're using atm? I had to go back to a 40 grit aluminium oxide paper, if that fails an electric sander works a treat or a drill bit attachment. :)
Theres an awesome one where the guy did the fiberglassing him self etc. Very impressive and tidy.
Search boot build and "oem" as i remember someone in the thread saying it looked almost oem.
Really nice that, needs the dynamic spoiler at least though mate! Will make it look sooo much better.
If you're feeling flush get the cup/trophy spoiler :)
I did mine a shade inbetween silver and anth and they look awesome tbh :-p on thr black car, either White or anth. White 172 wheels look very good IMO. Maybe do the diamond black?
After seeing these recommended on here, and ranting about them to my gf for ages, she bought me one as a suprise for my bday...
What can I say, buy one, they're amazing, the matching background is such a nice touch, and the vinyl sticker may not look too thick but my god its hard wearing.
I'm...
Bummer, so you've got a fully working battery and replaced batteries in key?
When you press button on key does the little clear bit on top flash?
The key internals can be a bit unreliable, check everything is connecting properly.
And before taking to renault, take to a good independant auto...
