If it stops turning over by itself then i wouldnt think its the TDC sensor, when mine was dodgy it would turn over forever but just not start.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for an hour or so and re-connecting, making sure all the connections are good? i.e wd40 on all terminals etc...
At the moment i'm not a fan, but if you did, bullets, diamonds, "renault" and "clio" and calibers all the same it could make quite a nice theme?
I like the ph2 side strips on the ph1 though! Gonna have to get me some and have a go at colour coding with the old ones!
On just springs not coilies, you should be fine getting up a drive, clios are so high anyway, that a 45mm drop would still not bring it as low as a standard bmw or something similar.
When cars are lowered in photoshop mate, its just an educated guess, we dont have a "lower 45mm button" if you want the car as low as in the picture you've showed, your best bet would be coilovers, although expensive.
^ True, but the thing is people often say to people "you'd be better off getting a cheap ph1" or something and then they dont seem very cheap!
Although checking more through PH, they seem to be in the "clio" rather "renault sport clio" and there are some OK priced examples, personally i just...
Colour coding looks spot on, i think i'm gonna buy some spare side strips and have a crack at mine, i quite like the way the black breaks up the back and front, but i'm defo a fan of doing the sides.
The mud flaps would be much better it they didnt say clio IMO and get hold of some alloys, even...
Is it just me or have all the cheap Ph1's disappeared off the market? Having a look on PH today and it seems that there are Ph2's cheaper than Ph1's!!!
Becoming "vintage" or just not as many being sold?
I'm more than a bit disappointed because i was looking to get a cheap one as soon as a...
But it is of no benefit for people other than the seller to lie about a car being written off though, so surely this just a way of protecting CS'ers and if it was in members only then it wouldnt be visible to joe public
I like the idea a lot, i dont see how it could be against the rules as people on here are always saying things like "oh thats the cat d from last week" or whatever, so why not. It stops bad cars running through the club as people buy and then sell them when they find out whats wrong with them...
They rub? I've got 17's at the moment (dont ask i was 17) and they dont even rub with a full car unless i hit a speedbump too hard. Is it just the offset that does this?
If you have the patience its better to take it off, then its much easier to do, but it all depends on how handy you are with a tool kit. From there you can use something like a jnr hacksaw or dremel or whatever you can get your hands on and some sand paper (to tidy it up), however i would advise...
Unless your old policy specified "we give no claims to named drivers" then you have 0 no claims at all, with any company. But even if your insurance company did say the above, then these no claims can only be used with that company and cannot be moved onto a policy with any other company. On the...
Ouch! Bumpers took the brunt of it by the looks of it! I was hoping to spot you around Luton as my old man lives up there, but i guess theres not much chance of that now :( glad your ok mate. I want your headlights! :P
Am i right in thinking the exhaust fittiments are the same for the 8v and the 16v? As in the pipe takes the same route and is the same size?
Pretty sure they are but not 100%
I havent seen this thread before, but just read it from start to finish, what can i say... Awesome! Love the "go for it" attitude, this is what i intend to do as soon as i have a full time job, buy a cheap car thats fun and try things out on it, teaching myself without worrying about making...
