All the new parts have been fitted The front end turns in so much better, and the the vibratechnics engine mounts and polybushed dog bone mount have tightened everything up nicely. The only problem I have is the PMS ac delete eyebolt is threaded so a new one is on order, and will hopefully...

I thought the 2118 only came in 15" form?

I needed two driveshafts in a hurry so purchased them both from ECP, they both fitted fine.

This has been covered lots of times now. My 172 has just ticked over 148k, she runs very well and drinks no oil.

Battery or alternator have had it, maybe both need replacing.

How many litres of oil did you put in?

Yes mate, I am also pretty certain now that the knock is coming from there. Yes Oli looking forward to sorting the front end out it's felt 'loose' for a while now.

Why would it be asking for trouble? Well worth doing IMO.

Some do. Mine made 171.5 bhp at Surrey Rolling Road (known for being pretty accurate) with just a ktec cat back exhaust and Itg maxogen IK.

You don't get a 5k 'kick' with a RS tuner map either.

My advice would be sell it and buy another 172 that is broken, your already 10bhp down! Regarding catcams I would go for 438 or 421 cams, not 428s personally.
