I agree! :approve: Good to have local knowledge.
I plead naivety when it comes to the Isle of Man...No idea about the roads...So i would of assumed it could deal with more cars! Hell they take big Lorrys over there with motorbikes? Hence the assumption!
A sensble post! Thats what i'm getting at! Good effort for all those that went! Would of loved to see the track! But for people not to make the effort on a trip like this is a great shame!!
In english?
No sure why you's are getting so arsey, i'm simply sayin its a shame more folk didn't go!
I get the impression that most of the lot down south would rather just meet in carparks and thats it?!! And that impression was confirmed by alot of you lot too!
New bonnet, and full front end repray, inc arches and skirts/ skirt ends. And the rear bumper is getting cut out. Exhaust polished.
Can't answer that... :S
Lads, i'm no knockin it...But considering how good it looked, lots of organisation involved...I would of hoped for more cars!!!! under 10cars! :S Sorry but imo thats poor. We had 24 for long west coast run, over 35people iirc...
Sorry, not dissin, i would of loved to come!
WTF you on about...
People and times change. IIRC you had Lexus lights and shoddy rims on your mk1...I'm sure you can reflect on that and think why did i do that.
i grew up alot after i sold that car. Just 19 with the 172, then willy at 20 and Vee at 21..All change and a progression!
Nah you's are right...When i was 17 i was convinced it looked better than my bro's 172! ha!
It was nice for the time tho! :) Skirts and rear lights were a no no tho! Prefered it with the Cup spoiler, coils and black bullets tho.
