Now I know why I didn't find out you had a 172 until today,
I don't go in the projects section as Clio's don't really interest me,
other than driving one which I still enjoy.
I think troll bidding is in order until every one of his items is over £100k,
there's more to this than asking silly prices, I think the parts come with big bags of coke or something.
I like the colour, if you're building a 1000bhp Supra you might as well make it stand out,
it's not exactly going to blend in with that kind of power anyway.
It's just for the baby seats, but it weighs sod all so you won't see any benefit,
the rear carpets weigh more than the isofix bar.
If you really want to shed some weight take the rear seats out,
the seat bases weigh nothing but the bench weighs a bloody tonne!
First time I went it made 151bhp at the wheels,
a year later after Fred had changed the belts, pullies, tensioners,
alternator, coil pack, HT leads and aircon delete,
it made 8bph less, despite feeling exactly the same if not better.
Belts had never been changed as far as I know and Fred said...
I eliminated all other possibilities, fuses good, relay obviously works because one side was fine,
all bulbs worked because I swapped them round, so that just left the physical connection,
if i'm going to one day build a Capri to my liking, i'd best start fixing sh*t myself.
Although I hate...
Discovered one of the rear lights wasn't working either,
turned out to be corroded contacts in the end,
scrubbed them with an old toothbrush and everything works now.
