If it's the mainshaft bearing that's failing, if it gets to the point that it's physically moving laterally in the gearbox, there's potential for it to throw out one of the taper rollers. If it does it'll go through the box and destroy gear teeth along with all the other bearings. It gets ground...
Yeah but keep one thing in mind, I've done 900 miles in mine since I bought it. It was bought as a toy, so it does get driven when I drive it, if you get me. Tbh the gear ratios and the chassis almost goad you on too! Akrapovic helps as well. Lol

Driven properly, a 200 is as fast as a 182. You just have to work harder in the 200. Show the 200 some corners and the 182 will be left behind.
I've done it in mine a few times on road and on track.
