Yeah I'd imagine it was more of a nervous reaction to what they'd just witnessed.
They should've stopped really, but that corner is such a fast corner (120 in a Clio if pushing on) it's potentially an opportunity to get cleaned up by another car that's out of control on porsche debris. Tough call.
Whilst looking on bridge to gantry this morning I came across this..........http://youtu.be/KpTkJcM5yL4

Yeah possibly. Just a case of offering it up and see if it'll work. Mark the holes and drill it. You may need to use countersunk fasteners though as it looks like they could foul the coilpack otherwise.
When I fitted my Yanoo stiff shift I managed to do it leaving the decat pipe in place, so in theory you can do the same leaving the cat in place. You just need to loosen the cat to manifold bolts so you can pull it down enough to give you the access. It's tight though and expect grazed knuckles...
I'm sure I've read somewhere that the cups had less servo assistance. Something to do with the pedal feel. I'll see if I can find out as it may of course be total bullshit.
I bought this one: http://www.caraddiction.co.uk/sld5.htm
Great bit of kit and a piece of piss to wire up. The omex is the same tbh from what I've read on here. Just remember to run it in 2cyl mode!!! If it's in 4cyl it won't work properly. It's to do with the way the ignition system operates...
