Do you have warning lights as well as the gauges? Only reason I ask is that from having first hand experience of gauges, in the heat of the moment you don't look at them until it's too late.

You could get a Yanoo shifter kit that came with a short shift linkage gents. I have the stiff shift 1.0 and I rate it. Haven't tried a pms shifter so can't comment.
The pms beam strengthening kit works better than a whiteline arb mate. It also means you can get away with running a slightly softer spring setup at the rear. It helps to stop ludicrous geometry changes when the rears under load as well.

Tein coilovers are a good bit of kit if your doing Trackdays and circuit racing. Not so nice on the road as they're valved/sprung more for competition. A mate of mine had them on a celica gt4 - awesome on track - awful on the road. As with everything, there's always a trade off I'm afraid.

The biggest difference you'll find from the different tracking setups is how much tram lining it will do tbh. The more towards parallel you go the more it will tram line (or that's what mine did), but having said that it's only noticeable on heavily rutted roads like the M1 etc etc. You'll get...
