Nice little turn out, whenever i've been in the Lakes I love driving around it's tight twisty little roads,
although the sheep can be nightmare for standing in the road on blind bends.
The Mk1 Escorts are awesome, I take it they were just a random spot at the petrol station?
I've always thought they were for sat navs and and other devices,
as the uv coated windscreens won't let the signals out.
When I had a Mk5 Golf it had a little clear square sticker on the windscreen,
the dealer told me that was what is was for.
Re: Drag Racing at Shakesphere
I thought it was going to go bang the other day, when it wouldn't start that sh*t me right up.
For an engine that's got tin foil gaskets and is held together by hopes & dreams,
i'm amazed it works at all haha.
Yeah i've got a poly dogbone aswel, but that was done last year.
They weren't that hard to change tbh, the hardest thing was finding a 16mm deep socket to fit the engine mount nut,
you'll need a trolly jack and a square of wood to put under the sump tank to support the engine,
then the same for...
Haha sorry mate, I don't know what people are on about with the vibration mines perfect,
plus me and DCIRaz fitted them, so you'd think with me being involved they'd be vibrating like f*ck.
But all i've got is instant power!
My 172 made 151 at the wheels at the RR day I went to with the West Mids lot,
taking into account a 15% or so loss through the drive train,
my flywheel power only worked out 173bhp, or is my maths sh*t?
Mine's got, V6 box, matched inlets, Piper exhaust, Fastchip remap.
How have they worked...
