    Try braking heavily on a road that's anything but a perfect, smooth surface. Then tell me 17's are better. lol. Had them on my 172 and they lasted a month.

    They sound dodgy as hell. Take it to someone that know what they're talking about. IMO, when backstreet garages are baffled by a car's problem, they pick the most expensive repair by default.
