Fred @ BTM in Birmingham. Faultless work and bang on prices.
He'll most likely give you a lift to the local train station, if you're leaving it with him. Easy train back to Nodnol from there.
It'll turn over with TDC, it just won't fire. So it's not that.
It could only be the starter, really. Solenoid being stuck is the best guess.
Be thankful that it stuck whilst the car wasn't running. lol
Minor roads are playgrounds, but the rest is clear. You'll be fine this side of the Pennines.
Yeah, the 133 is epic fun. I went through this old industrial estate on the way home last night to avoid traffic. Maybe.
I'll say as much as it'll recover from a 90 degree angle in corners. :o
LOL @ the turbo reference. That carries no weight. Dude, I'm not sure why you're so defensive, but all we're saying is that it's much harder to make a M Car with forced induction. If anyone can do it, M Div. can.
It's just a shame to see the end of the NA M cars. That's all.
Not if you value your wallet.
The same enjoyment can be had from the Ph1, and it won't demand the same attention.
On your budget, I'd stick to the newest, best condition Ph1 you can find.
Pay attention to whether the cambelt has been changed, and also the dephaser (VVT regulator) as they...
LOL. That's not a fair comparison at all.
The BiTurbo six is a monster. S54 lumps aren't the most rich in torque. Also, have you seen the layout of Hockenheim? Favours the newer car considerably.
And also, lap times have nothing to do with what M Division's about, or at least what it was...
Mine's useless in the snow, but it's all self inflicted. The splitter's an inch from the ground and the suspension's rock hard.
The 133, on the other hand, is a f*cking riot!
Brembo HC discs and DS2500 pads, coupled with some braided lines are more than enough for the Clio, even on track.
Stick the the Ph1 172. Cable throttle, lighter, better ratios and cheaper. Loads more fun for a track car than a Ph2, non-Cup.
