👍 Regarding the buttons that’s correct. Basically top two are horn and the other 4 replicate the standard buttons for cruise/limiter and position they are on the standard wheel.

Fitting aftermarket steering wheel - advice

It's a T50 for the steering wheel bolt I believe. Boss, most people buy the Momo boss as I think there is a difference between ph1/2 bosses. Search on here and I think there is a thread about which is the best boss to buy. A better solution to the resistors is if you can find someone nearby...

Fitting aftermarket steering wheel - advice

I have a Volantech panel (as you can see by my avatar) and yes you will need the 6 button panel if you want a horn and retain cruise and speed limiter. It's quite simple to do, I am sure there is a guide for removing the wheel on here somewhere.

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

@SharkyUK The cost is now in material and really is only your business. What matters now is that you have it back and can enjoy it. Cars are our hobby and they cost what they cost. I too keep a spreadsheet of cost for my 172, and that is way too much tbh but when I use it on track every penny...

@banhama In the link I posted they do a 10" & 8" so would be 14" or 12" respectively overall.

Where best to fit an additional silencer

I bought the 4" Diameter one by 12" long so it is a total of 16" long if you choose the clamp on version.

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

Looking great. Before I zoomed in I thought it was Bristol Airport. Some nice drives over the Mendips not too far away. I think @Daniel knows a good place in Bristol for geo set up.

    Hushing the ktec ’stealth’ exhaust

I Have just added a centre silencer to my Piper cat back system. It has made a nice difference and has eliminated the drone at motorway speeds. Probably only dropped the decibels down by about 3db's but the car is much nicer to drive now.

    My 1 owner 172 cup

It's a very simple removal. Just remember to disconnect the battery for 20 minutes. It's a Torx T50 from memory. Renault's recommendation is to replace the bolt whenever the steering wheel is removed and the part number is 8200697105 Less than a Fiver.

    172 exhaust

I would go with a downturned tailpipe as your car is too nice to cut the bumper. I did cut mine and in some respect regret it now.

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

I have had P0130 several times. lambda sensor if I am right. reset with my cheap code reader and a good blast and it normally doesn't come back for a while. I normally get it if I am not using the car much and just moving it in and out of the garage.
