Quite a lot of the single player customisation is locked behind the ultimate edition, such as a couple of the car mod shops, tattoo shop and barber. For the sake of £20 I'd just buy it if you want to experience everything.
Quick follow up on my post from the other week. Just got the car back from the body shop, the roof is looking a 1000x better.
Here's the before:
And the after:
All in was £300 (inc VAT). Pretty happy with that!
Well what started off as 9 cars coming to the Ph1 meet, ended up being 3! But it was still great to be able to park alongside another Ph1, they're getting really rare now.
Just in case someone didn't see this on Facebook, there's a small Phase1 meetup happening at The Motorist on the 14th!
Here's the details from Jack who has organised it:
"our initial meeting point is Wetherby services on the A1, hopefully this should be nice and easy to find and get to for...
It did really well to be fair!
Of all the black Phase 1's I've found so far, yours had done the second highest mileage! Only Y584 PAU managed to beat you, with a very healthy 212,492 (last MOT'd 16/8/24).
Nice one, I do have it down! Made it to 164k, hasn't been MOT'd since 2021 sadly.
It must've been registered in the same place as my car, given the matching DTV plates.
Cheers Matt! Up close it's not as great with some scratches and dents, but it's surprisingly rust free aside from a small blister on the left rear arch!
Not far off hitting 150k, still plodding along nicely!
Booked in to have the roof resprayed in the middle of June, it's been terrible ever since I bought the car but I've never bothered to have it sorted until now. Also its still far too loud but seeing as it doesn't get driven on the daily, I...
I'd just buy something like this personally, you know it has good compression as it made good power on the dyno:

Think they should be done to around 125Nm so maybe just wasn't quite tight enough! Hopefully you've avoided any serious damage. Here's a list of the torque settings for the belts and pulleys, if you haven't already got it:
Belts & Pulleys...
Have you tried re-timing it and then compression testing it? It might've just jumped a tooth, seeing as the compression figures are all even. Should be around 170-180psi when timed correctly.
