The 'tank' controls are the ps1 method and really don't work with the sticks. Change that setting for most of the time and only use tank controls when you need to jump backwards or sideways on ramps etc because that doesn't work with the modern controls. It's definitely not the best of any worlds.

And I say that as I am in the process of refreshing the suspension on my clio. Ooh while the hubs are off I could get them powder coated, and that arb looks a bit dirty, and that oil leak looks like an engine rebuild with supercharger is needed and...

The fatty induction setup is great and way cheaper than any off the shelf set up. It'll not make it go any faster but it will make it feel faster with the amazing noise it makes. I painted the elbow black and with a battery cover it looked nicely oem.

I passed in 92 too and a year later my mum siad I couldn't have a GT Turbo. My dad came with me when I bought it 😆. The turbo tin cans on the era were amazing, I wish modern hot hatches had some turbo lag to play with. I guess I was especially lucky to be able to buy my dream car when I was young.
