Ordered it from ECP from memory.
Does anyone know the part number for a rear caliper for a 172 Cup?
Other news I fitted the front coilovers, realised before I fit them I needed the thin 17mm nut and spacer from the original suspension.
I noticed through searching on CS.net, I'd fitted the...
...road alignment, and camber bolts would make.
I wasn't disappointed, apart from forgetting to bring my standard wheel bolts to take the front spacers off in case of rubbing.
(There was a lot of rubbing) on the sharp bends, so much so I couldn't take passengers.
Last time I was at...
Never seen that spacer bit before, but i would say.
1.Nylon nut
2.Big spacer
3.One half of mount then other on the bottom underneath
Also i thought B14 had special nut for the rear not a nylon nut,but could be different now days as an updated version.
...of 2024 the Clio was put aside for a while.
Since September I have fitted the cambelt kit, water pump aux belt all genuine.
-Oil service
-Spacers back on the front
-Brake fluid change
The water pump was fun to remove there really isn't much room, i found it easier to lift the engine nice...
With the smaller 280mm discs I could get finally get rid of the 20mm spacers. It clears but don't think I could get a sheet of paper to fit in between so ordered some 5mm spacers 😂.
...Hamber Hydrate 80 and then a coat of Bilt Hamber Electrox zinc primer, then a good few coats of satin enamel paint. I have also fitted shim spacers and whiteline bushes.
So next is the hard part of taking the old one off and treating the rust etc. underneath, once all back on, I will give...
A tale of highs and lows.
The high. It past it's MOT.
Then the lows, of which there are a couple.
Starting with the small issue:
Literally on the way home from the MOT the washer jets stopped working, no noise from the pump, nadda. Got home and checked the fuses. All good.
Wiggled the...
If you wind the damper in then you can achieve a lower ride height, although I can't imagine needing to go lower than what the BC springs can offer. Even with the 5mm spacer I wouldn't go any lower for the road.
...up with the hub, and bolt them on. Don't forget to tighten the collar afterwards.
The only discrepancy vs the above description is my BCs came with with spacers for the springs, not threaded adjusters like the Bilstein B14. I'm running the 5mm spacer.
This is what mine looks like on full droop:
Bit of interior tarting: body-colour trim strips and cup holder fitted.
The driver's sun visor courtesy lights weren't working as the positive wire had become detached, so that was soldered back on. A simple but satisfying fix.

Looked like one bearing was on it's last legs as this rubber (at one time was rubber maybe?) seal decided to just fall out.
Also gave the hub spacers a spruce up and made sure to install them the right way around, thanks to info found on here.

Yeah i've seen a purple one in Calgary, probably the same.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say the one I saw out skiing didn't look so bad with the offroad tyres & spacers. Definitely more purposeful rather than a stupid gimmick.

I couldn't find the thread where we were chatting about the spare wheel kit? Why I tagged you there. Thanks for the help... Mist washer jets next. 😅
