Before setting out for CSF another flap motor arrived so I quickly fitted that and so far so good, not getting anymore clicking when getting in the car.
Onto CSF itself, I was quite worried about driving at Cadwell for the first time and the briefing didn't exactly fill me with confidence...
I was only a car or something behind you when it happened and I was absolutely gutted mate. Main thing is you're ok and the damage doesn't look too bad. I didn't actually know it was you.
That car was rapid! I was in the red Clio 200 with the sticker on the back window.
I was skeptical about the sessions, but turned out really well. Thanks to everyone for another great CSF.
22nm for the nuts. Also if you haven't already that plastic pipe that sits on the throttle body is prone to split so you can replace it for a metal one. See my project thread for more info.
It drives straight, so it will do for now. After CSF I can continue the restoration and replacing everything until Renault offer me a spot in their museum.
So took it to the local tyre place. Right side was showing -00.15' and the left side was showing 00.06. Both sides are now -06 and the car drives straight. I'll get some rear beam bushes sorted and see if that corrects the rear.
