Are all mounts between the different models the same or is there differences?
I have a Ph1 172 and wondered if a dogbone mount and vibratechnics engine mount from a 2004 182 would fit.
Thanks
...It's SO much fun now.
Easily one of the best modifications I've done, literally #1. They're not too firm, just a bit shaky at idle. The standard ones are so so s**t. The vibratechnics stop all my gear stick movement, no nasty exhaust/subframe knock, and it makes the whole car feel more positive.
...Also got some 10mm axle spacers, omp steering wheel, momo boss to fit and some second hand A048's to go on.
Next on the list is a Vibratechnics top mount, new genuine top mounts and new genuine Renault shocks or a decent set of second hand coilovers, bucket seat subframes, and maybe a roll...

Its a Vibratechnics one and for a tenner you've got yourself a a bargain. Virations aren't too bad as well, just makes the rear view mirror a bit hard to focus on things due to the vibration.

So im getting there slowly..
Vibratechnics mounts along with a polybushed dogbone mount all fitted.
The mounts have helpped no end with confidence in the car, gear changes are nicer, generally driveability of the car has improved too so its all good. Oh and minimal vibrations :)

Yeh nearly there! I'm driving it but just not enough performance for me yet. Added a boost gauge and vibratechnics engine mounts and have solid top mounts to be fitted as well. Cooksports nearly have a fail!
Have been asked about parts etc a couple of times and for my own benefit in case anything needs replacing again etc (and because I'm really sad ;) ) I did a little list of parts that have gone onto the car since ownership and their respective part numbers. Thought it might be useful for someone...

Thank you mate, haven't had the boost yet but the noise was nice ha. Yeh I bought them, still waiting for them to be fitted but hope the will stop the knocking, if not I'd have to get a custom pipe like George as it would drive me insane. Haha you may have adjusted but I had read they aren't...
Hope it's all sorted sharpish and you get the boost bus back soon! Did you look into the Vibratechnics? Mine are surprisingly not very harsh! Or I'm just adjusting to them.
He was showing me some photos of your car yesterday with your new suspension, looks well!
Im really wanting to get this Yozza exhaust off, too loud for me and could do with some money to purchase some worthwhile mods. Any feedback of a standard exhaust with de-cat?
