Day out at the local hill climb with the Ph1, been in the paint shop recently for a tidy up, some of the 26 year old paint was showing its age and some lacquer peel in places. Flame Red pops in the sunshine again now 🌞

I’ve sourced a mk2 cup spoiler to fit to my Ph1, but it’s proving difficult to fit. A quick look at a few for sale and looks like there were a few different variants of cup spoilers with different moulding/shaping on the rear/underside of the spoiler. Some have a small lip on the front underside...

To follow up on this, took the bumper off and it looks like the steel brackets that the bumper fixings mount into are pretty thin steel so prone to sagging. I was able to bend these brackets upwards and inwards a bit which improved the fit. Not perfect but better than before

Would be great to get one of each colour together. Sounds like a meet up being planned for August at Prescott hill climb so will see

I have the KTEC induction kit on mine and the intake noise is lovely, like a mini CSL 😅 Don’t know if they are still available from KTEC probably a bit wary of ordering from there atm

Yeah I have the same issue but only on one side the bumper is sitting away slightly. I’m going to try and grind back the white plastic unit behind the bumper to get it to fit right

Offering up some new wheels, Renault 19 Speedlines. I know they’re a bit marmite, but I like them and think they suit the early ph1. Plus they were local and too cheap not to! Going in for a refurb soon, think these will look better in a matte light silver or an off-white. Not sure if anthracite...
