@dann2707 @Flob worked like a charm ladies 😎😎 handy little tool to be honest. Ended up having the cover counterbore machined down slightly so the bolt would go deeper, meaning I didn’t need to risk f**king up a helicoil. Was terrified doing them up!

Does anyone have, or is there such thing as a torque screwdriver? I have some 10nm bolts going into an Ali casting and it’s awkward positioning with a torque wrench so I’d much prefer going in line.

If they’re structural bolts make sure they get hydrogen de-embrittled. Most platers ‘should’ know that.

Big day on the car today for me. Diagnosed my broken fag lighter as a blown fuse and replaced. Then glued in the rear number plate screw fitting as it was loose.

Saw a green one at the shop earlier, actually looked really good which is crazy to say about a new car nowadays.

I pay £200 for a full refurb on 19s at my local place. Don’t even bother cleaning them now, fresh refurb every 6 months is easier 😂
