    I've heard/read somewhere that it is used during the warming up cycle/cold start. But I can't remember where I saw that. When you say restricted power, how do you mean? They have a cold limiter in the 6500rpm range if that's what you mean...

    You have to pull the blower box back from the bulkhead to allow the pipe side of the matrix to come out. There's bolts under the scuttle panel for that, so wipers off too.

    This is the one i used Daz https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390629059729 Appears to be the same 70mm you require. It's just a universal filter from Ram Air.

    Have seen that before, is it the same both sides? Cant remember if they're M8 bolts or not, probably 25mm long.

    Go easy on the hardline fitting, it should spin but corrosion can seize them on and you'll end up cheesing the end off 😅

    Specific to the Mk3 Megane, although he does do for others. Not sure about a 1*2 though because they don't have the modine/oil cooler thing.

    Oil change using the 3d printed oil filter thing which stops it pissing over all the pipes on the Megane.
