That's probably because Mk1s have old diesels engines, so non of that common rail stuff. You probably can't convert your car to biodiesel because of the commonrail injection. Also, the diesel pumps on the clios are made by lucas or delphi, which can not take biodiesel because the gaskets in...

It's incorporated in the vin number, which you can find in the front window. It usually starts with CB, well it does with my two clios anyway What i allready can tell is that you can buy them separatly for a 172, so you can probably get them for the 1.6 too

What type is the 1.6? For example my 172 is type CB1T

Go for the Fk's, I have some KW variant1's on my car and they are absolutly crap, so i can't imagine the cheaper version would be better. They are bumpy as hell, and the height adjusting nuts are made from plastic FFS
