I have the 15" 2.5Ghz version with 512gb storage. Its very capable and powerful enough to run pretty much anything. I presume your looking at the 13" version at that price point. There is not much that it can't do either. Certainly more powerful than an air, also have an older mac book air 13"...

You might need to log the car with the Rs tuner if you still have it or get it on a dyno and get someone to log your afr, might be pulling back timing for some reason, best to diagnose it. Otherwise they are underpowered in a straight line, only in the tight and twisty bits will it maul most cars.

Just tried a comparison between Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical (RMT), which i have used in the past with Gtechnique C2v3, application of RMT was not as good as i remember it, actually very poor in comparison with C2V3. Finish i would say line ball, maybe an edge to RMT in terms of a glossier...
