It's fantastic until it gets hot, it's in a warm room too, so it's under poor conditions really. It's just the lack of active cooling which lets it down, shame.
I opted for a 13" M4 air for my latest work laptop, I regret this choice tbh.
Overheats and throttles very easily, takes me back to the old i7 days.
The M1 pro it replaced and my own M2 pro are both far better machines, just because they have a fan.
Agreed, getting really into it now.
Some of the music is horrendous, but sub pop channel seems ok 🤣
One big change seems the lack of big trunked trees, in the last few games you'd be smashing through a forest and then all a sudden get stopped immediately by a big tree, so it added a bit of...
I think now it's no longer the sub £40 a year bargain it was you have to weigh up sub vs buying games.
The number of games I've played over the past year would make it cheaper to just buy them, the only day 1 I've played is Horizon iirc. Games are pretty cheap if you just use the wishlist and...
Mine also runs out later this year, last time I renewed I did the 3 year gold and convert 1:1 to ultimate but that's long gone now, this was recently posted on AVForums, so you need to work out what works out best for you with the new conversion rates:
When you upgrade to Xbox Game Pass...
I sent my mate this exact photo and similar comment when I started playing it 🤣
I actually got really into it last night, not played today as been out this evening. But I think it is just a bit stale like you say, I was reflecting on the others and they all offered something new, 1 was new, 2...
I actually turned down the own car sounds in the menu as it was awful from the Silvia.
I was looking forward to creating a pretty special S2k, maybe thats not possible then :(
Played a bit on my dinner hour, so far seems very like 5 with a new map but I'm looking forward to doing some of the story stuff. I think the previous versions had it to some extent but I never did it before.
The map is cool though, and the handling characteristics definitely feel updated for...
Proper big?
Chinese mini-led in 100" - https://www.richersounds.com/hisense-100u7qtuk/
Or just get a decent smaller OLED in 77" - https://www.richersounds.com/lg-oled77c54la/
Or man up and get a decent 97" OLED - https://www.richersounds.com/lg-oled97g64lw/
I agree with the above, basic iPad will be fine for that use. I have the basic one from 2019 and it still works fine now but hasn't got the latest OS update so expect it to stop working in the not too distant future on some apps. 7 years isn't bad for a £300 ipad though.
Says 10% off under the price with a code so would be in budget!
I'd probably buy from somewhere that bundle a long warranty though (john lewis/currys/richer sounds)
In my opinion, yes. I have an LG C5, it's very bright like I said but my room is dark, I run the OLED brightness at about 60% for non HDR content. I'd say at that level it's the same brightness as my old CX was peak! If you got a G series then it would be even brighter again.
I'm team OLED but you're right about not being the best for a very bright room, but it would have to be very bright. My 2025 CX is so much brighter than my 2020 CX was, I've had to turn it down.
If you want mini led this looks a nice deal -...
Yep, that's what I'm on atm, renewed at 5.5 years old on black friday 2024. I'd renew again if I could as it's a really good deal.
I don't need a warranty, it's just a golf at the end of the day, but it was nice having that peace of mind, never had it before on a car.
Found it on the VW website, VW want £1100 a year to cover my 2019 GTI on the full cover package, only done 45k miles too.
Mad, I'll not be bothering with that then 🤣
Who is that with?
I've had the All In pack on my Golf since I got it but it runs out at the end of this year and as it's now over 6 years old I can't buy it again.
Been incredible value, the servicing alone is worth it, plus I've had a couple of warranty claims, the biggest being a new AC...
Proper sad indeed.
It's gone downhill a lot though, I think my last purchase from game was my Xbox one on launch day. I last went to one a few years ago to pick up ACC and they had no stock, but they didn't have much stock of any video games/consoles. Just a load of shitty toys.
They really...
For me it's 1 and 2, I was at uni for them and played them so much.
3 I never got on with, 4 I really liked, 5 is a bit meh but I've played it a fair bit, probably because it was one of the first true next (current?) gen games.
Playtime seems to agree, no data for 360 sadly, never actually...
Two codes, one is HOLLOW and then sign up for the newsletter and they send you a 15% voucher code. Can use both.
It's £530, or do it in two transactions (rim and pedals separate) and strangely it's £520, just need two 15% codes.
They don’t, but even so with the vouchers it comes to £520 with the basic pedal set, which is a load cell brake

Yep, that's what I'm thinking too, it's better but fanatec is more sellable.
The RS50 actually works out cheaper if you buy it in parts rather than the bundle, which is weird, but allows you to buy the PS base and XB hub. They also have some pretty good voucher deals, which make the...
Same, I have moved over to ps5 now, this might be my last ever Xbox game which is a bit sad but I’ve accepted it’s dead.
I have GP so will play it on that until it expires, then make a call on if I buy it for ps5 later.
Back on the idea of a sim rig, it must be winter and I'm bored 🤣
Has anyone tried the Logitech RS50?
I think realistically options are RS50 or DD Pro, I ideally want PC/PS5 and Xbox compatibility and I don't think a T598 can offer all three.
I think the RS50 is the better base and the entry...
