From memory the rear loom connects behind the panel under the driver's door just down from the bonnet release!

does the car have stop start and if so was it an AGM battery fitted? My meg was doing the exact same, it would only happen when it was started and you had to turn the car off and on again to clear it, never came back since the battery was replaced

Check breaker yards for Clio RSI too, early ones also had them, that's where I got mine

Aux belt tensioner has seized by the look of it, id get that aux kit changed ASAP that's at risk of letting go and jumping the timing/writing off the engine

looking at that ball joint above its not been fully seated and someone has battered in the pinch bolt anyway, assume ripping the threads clean off the pinch bolt so it will have been moving up and down in the hub, as above probably damaging the hub. With the above fixed if there's still issues...

Mine used to come on all the time, i had a decat though 😂 - Id reset it and it would stay off for 100-200 miles then come back on. The RSTuner always showed the fault and let me reset it though. Once i used the 98ron RSTuner map though it never came back on, assume henk disables it?!
