Little update from me. Car went back to my mate today for a quick nut and bolt check and to notch the subframe before spa. Ever since the turbo kit was fitted the exhaust has rattled on the subframe and drove me mad. Thankfully he worked his magic and the rattle is gone, just get the vibrations...

Looks like the leak is coming from the banjo bolt where the line fits to the pump. Going to clean it off and give it 1/4 turn and see if that cures it.

All sorted. Came back with code DF110 (I think), which is a destructive misfire. Turned out to be water had got into the plugs, need to find a way to get the magnecor leads to seal better.

Megane ones that come with the kit. Injectors and plugs are new.

it’s got the base map put on the ecu. I know it going to run badly with the base map on it more why it’s thrown the engine management light. Spoke to ED and he said the EML will be a separate issue so needs sorting before it goes for mapping.

i know…….. shouldn’t have fitted a turbo. Was maybe being naive when I expected it to last more than 30 miles before it’s s**t itself.

Are the phase 1 172 and phase 2 172 subframes the same?

Have ended up buying the wilwood kit off another member who bought it and never fitted it. Those of you who’ve got the jamsoprt kit what did you do about replacement discs? Don’t want to put the toyota discs back on when I wear them out.

Is there any reason I can’t put an adapter into the factory oil pressure switch port to run an aftermarket gauge?

I put them on the car last year when I bought it as one injectors had failed so bought a new set of four. Have probably done 500 miles if that

If you do want the injectors let me know. Should be getting the car back next week with all the now redundant parts. Can also ping you the invoice to show they’re not copies.

What spacers did you have to run to clear the wheels? Got 2118’s on mine with et43
