Apologies accepted.
I had to have my 13 year old cockapoo put to sleep at 1:00 am yesterday & whilst I was waiting in the car park @ the vets a number of cars were doing handbrake turns in the local Lidl car park. Not really what I wanted to hear tbh. And no, 😂 this wasn’t in Weston Super Mare.
I live on the outskirts of Weston Super Mare but originally from Bristol.
Me, when I helped you out earlier in this thread. And also sold Rojer wheels really cheap to help him out.
So Weston Super Mare is actually helping your friend with employment as well then, by the sounds employment he...
These are my RC5's after roughly 12 track days and several thousand road miles. :ROFLMAO: Bought in 2018 & apart from a brief try of some mintex pads only just changed.
But I am constantly told I don't brake hard enough by @M.C..
I ran CL RC6 after upgrading from the CL RC5+ @ Bedford 2 weeks ago & I was really impressed by them.
Gave me a lot more confidence. Bloody hated driving home with them though, 3.5 Hours of squealing on every roundabout :D
Fair enough, that does make sense. Leave them out then.
I know the 1.2 Team Dynamics ones have a habit of going missing on track thinking about it now.
Nice to meet you @Rojer too.
You are welcome, it was a pleasure to be able to assist. I think you may have been a lot later home had we continued chatting 🤣.
@Rojer As Promised here are some photos of the wheels, I was slightly out with the offset as it's 49 not 47. A quick online check has the PCD as 5 x114.3 which I think ties in with the Clio & is the same as my i20N.
One has a very small amount of curb rash, Would you be happy with £40 just to...
@Rojer I Will take Photos of them in the Morning, I have just spent ages trying to find photos in my album but can't.
From Memory they are 114.3 PCD & 17 x 7 with 47 offset but will double check in the morning.
This is when I trial fitted one to my i20N in March but they are no good because...
@Rojer I have some MK3 Megane Wheels I will have to double check the PCD & offset but I am sure they are the same PCD as the Clio as I fitted one to my Clio 220 Trophy & the I20N.
@bvnditi with spacers you probably wouldn't have had to notch the base out.
I have included a photo which just about shows the spacers I made.
From memory 25mm diameter Aluminium bar with a 8.5 mm drilled hole through the middle & 25mm in length.
With OMP Bases the seats sit wonky, Ideally you need a spacer under the two inside bolt holes. I think it's around 25mm but it's long time since I did mine.
Swore at it as I had a quick flashing red immobiliser light.
Took two attempts taking the negative battery terminal off & on before it decided to behave as though nothing had happened!!
@bvnditi
Just looked through my photos of when I retrofitted my cruise.
Have Attached photos of the squib, cruise panel & the wiring.
From Memory the black plug is for cruise & the grey plug is horn. The two yellows are for the airbag.
So check your car & if you have the black plug I believe...
If you press the cruise switch, do you get Set come up on the dash?
I managed to retro fit cruise to my 172.
I added the clutch switch, A 182 Squib & a Volantech panel for the operation of cruise etc.
There is also a guide on here...
