Problem is X172 that Renault service is closed over the weekend, my headlights arent fixed properly and the rubber gaskets are just on top of the battery under the hood. When you say the bonnet hinge where do you mean exactly?

ok the metal wire inside is like a brake wire off a bike and is moving freely and isnt snapped from what i can see

ok pulled the catch a few times from the front, no problems Took the handle off, how do i get to the wire? Do i need to unscrew the little black thing?

ok, i can hear the wire moving so i dont think the wire has come loose, but i think the catch is jammed, any way to release it? Renault is closed and the garages i rang said, one person pull the lever, the other wobble the bonnet?

ok, i just tried pulling the handle, dont know how it comes off? but when i pull it i can here a noise in the front fender so i dont think it is the handle, apparently the catch might be jammed? Erm how do you take the handle off? thanks for your time gaz ;)

ah ok, you see i changed the wishbone mount. The mechanic looked at the engine mount but he said it is fine? I was going to change it anyway, but the battery needs to be taken out and I dont have the radio code so didnt want to end up spending about 80 quid then no change seen as I am a skint...
