Cheers I'll try the screw first on the other side. The kit mentioned further back actually had better clips that were an appropriate size so I'll stick the same in that side.

Yeah, this must have been the worst pop rivets ever fitted to one of these. There's no way it was popping out. Levered it from all angles then just had to destroy it with a sharp screwdriver. Still needed a good pull with pliers to get the centre bit out, pain in the c**t. Now replaced with...

Well mine are somehow fucked because it rounded before turning much at all. One was already rounded by someone else so I took care with this one and the material was so soft.

Ok thanks I'll try under the trim and good shout on that kit danke. I don't know if it's a Clio/French thing but I do not have this sort of nonsense problem on any other cars with plastic rivets. 😵‍💫

Are you talking to the point of 'that's away to break' hard? Because I had been trying that.

Not sure what on earth is going on here or how much of a moron I'm being- how do you remove these rivets? They have a philips head that rounded before they'd turn much and they don't want to pop up at all.

I cut off about 1/4" and it is better cheers although it will still pop off just not as easily and the hose is on the tight side which won't help.

My driver's side tubing keeps popping off the nozzle (this is surprisingly infuriating) and I think the rubber is a bit too slack. Can anyone recommend a source for replacement rubber tubing that works well to save me forking out a relative fortune on this Renault stuff please?-...

I had already checked the fuel rail guard and there's no movement in it. Very hard to determine exactly where it's coming from whether I listen at the engine bay or on the ground to the side of the car. On it potentially being a heat shield- would it be normal for when this occurs to change...

Also, I had most of the front suspension replaced and steering rack bushes changed so the subframe was dropped. Hopefully it might be a heat shield as has been suggested on the Clio Trophy forum.

Think that looks to be a refurbished version of the same one as opposed to brand new- I'd also read a few things about people saying to go brand new over a refurbished unit to guarantee no issues. Looking at the price differential I think I would.
