Oh yeah, didn't notice the sunroof. Probably not a motorsport shell then, as fitting a sunroof seems a bit of a ballache. As you say, probably just made up from bits. Good way to own one in a way, as it means you can use it without having to be so precious!
It's definitely rough and you can see it's had some welding on the inner wings etc, but it does look about right in terms of the structure. Given the white engine bay, I wonder if it's an old motorsport shell or something. Still, if it was cheaper than a clean one, it doesn't really matter. I'd...
Not too bad thanks. Treatment finished three weeks ago, but the side effects peaked a bit later. Just waiting for consultant appointment and scan in a few weeks. On the mend though. Still can't eat, but am drinking again, and feeling a lot better in myself, so hopefully well on the way to recovery.
That's brilliant. Ford used to be brilliant. I've got a load of brochures and catalogues from the '90s, when they reintroduced loads of MK1/2 competition parts, alongside all the Ford Motorsport bits for the current range.
Now look at them - how the mighty have fallen.
Could the design director of any OEM walk round that show and honestly claim that their department is doing a good job? Modern cars look shite compared to most of that stuff. And I include the Reliant van in that statement.
Interesting that the FIA have announced they'll be using it for a rally Esports competition. Bit of a kick to Nacon, who got awarded the WRC game rights last year (and are currently in financial trouble).
I understand the investments, as it could be a massive money saver for businesses, and therefore a massive earner for the companies behind it. The impact it could have on the world is on a similar scale to the steam engine, probably more. That said, it could also implode, so it's a big gamble. I...
Nah. Should always have appreciation for people willing to put work into a car. I absolutely hate old Beetles and other air-cooled VWs with a passion. I think they're horrendous deathtraps, but I can still respect people who put hundreds of hours into restoring them. It would be boring if we all...
The current Ferrari line-up looks f**king dreadful. Think the 458 was the last genuinely great looking mid-engine car they did. It's been downhill from there, and it's getting worse.
This kind of thing is exactly why normal people shouldn't have access to AI. What a complete waste of everyone's time and energy. The idea of AI generated films is so depressing. The whole point of films, TV series, plays, music and any other creative medium is that it's made by people. That...
It's sad, but I think AI is going to screw so many people in creative roles. There is now so little perceived value in people making stuff digitally because AI slop is seen as "good enough" by many. A real shame, but I can also see there being pushback eventually, just like people buying vinyl...
I wonder why the AI made it look squashed :ROFLMAO: It also seems to have given hints of MK3 Clio and it being a five door. Weird.
Anyway, I like the yellow, looks good and definitely makes it look a bit more aggressive. A bright orange or green might work well too.
I believe creators earn more revenue from US views than UK ones, though I don't think the difference is as big as it used to be.
More than that though, it's just a bigger market. There are more companies to do brand deals with, and the whole automotive and YouTube business is on a larger scale...
