Right then, its been on my mind that you've been so unhappy with yours, yet others love theirs. I didn't want to discount your experience but also other people posted contradictory points.
Where did you buy it from?
Only reason I ask, is Piper have confirmed that the system they make for CP...
I got sick of killing PAS pumps, I've done 3, so I've fitted a cooler. Car hasn't been back on the road since, so me saying this is as much use as saying I've got a spaceship in the back garden, but there's pics of the fitting here...
The car has been parked in my front garden for a good few months (had a couple of skips on the drive). I've moved it back onto the drive to work on, and I opened the bonnet last night just to check everything was fine. There was a shitload of spiders!
Car is now for sale :ROFLMAO:
Jokes, its...
Just to clarify my aux belt plans, this is the setup I'm copying (random pic from the interwebs). If I've not confused myself, I think this turns the water pump backwards but at no detriment to the engine. Unless I'm confusing it with a friends car. Its 18 months since I did all this research...
Right then, life has got in the way but I'm back, and wanting to get this back on the road.
As a reminder, this is what it should look like:
Started stripping down again to remove the pump. Can't remember why I took the headlights out, doesn't really give you any more room.
Whilst I...
Well I've not done much, but I've not sold it!
Looking a bit sorry for itself.
Not really relevant but doesn't she look cool as f**k.
Dropping this on Spotify soon.
Will dig out the pics I've taken for a proper update!
I'm tempted. Let me have a figure out how I'm going to sort the money. I'd initially planned finance, but then found a purchases credit card gave better interest (i.e. 0%) so will look into one that'll do cash...
Currently got a 2012 Mac Mini that's been upgraded but its getting a bit long in the tooth now. I'd decided I was upgrading to the latest Mac Mini when they were £599 with 256gb SSD.
Now it seems as though all the £599 ones are NLA and the starting point is the £799 512gb one.
Pretty much nobody...
I'm conflicted now! I definitely don't want it loud, its a track car. If the exhaust hadn't failed I wouldn't be looking. I replaced the backbox and it got through its MOT but its sat for a year or two since then. Its touching underneath somewhere and buzzes your eyes out of the sockets above...
I'm not the biggest fan of using AI for things like that, as I feel its a bit dishonest if I use it for selling something and whoever buys it doesn't receive what they're expecting.
Will have a look into photo tents, cheers!
I've been making and selling some stuff and want to use better photos to make my gear stand out from the rest. Small stuff, so tabletop based.
I've got a Nikon D7200, and a couple of tripods (large and small).
What do I need to be looking at to get decent results? If we say "photography" level...
Genuinely think those wheels are the best looking option for the Clio. Shame about the weight. I think if a set popped up with road tyres in a few months I'd be hard pressed to say no.
I've bought a couple of pressure switches off Amazon, I believe they're about £13. From experience though, once they're noisy, they don't quieten down.
Re: Taking bulbs out of warning lights, I'm sure that an initial test is that the light has to illuminate on ignition and then go off, stopping you doing that or putting tape over it etc.
I've had a stripped caged Clio for years and the only hassle I got was because the horn was on a push button...
I don't know if I've lucked out with my seat selection or all you are just mard arses. I've got a Corbeau Clubsport XL and its extremely comfortable. It's on a standard sidemount subframe. I've got a Jon Foz subframe to fit but not got round to it. The Clio isn't my daily, BUT I have daily'd it...
I can't help you, but Connects2 themselves are pretty helpful. I contacted them regarding a loom for a box I'd bought and they were happy to help. This was around COVID time so not recent, but certainly not in a time where the Clio 2 products were a current item.
