I've been making and selling some stuff and want to use better photos to make my gear stand out from the rest. Small stuff, so tabletop based.
I've got a Nikon D7200, and a couple of tripods (large and small).
What do I need to be looking at to get decent results? If we say "photography" level, rather than FB Marketplace level.
I can use the camera in manual mode, although I'm out of practice.
I was thinking of some form of lighting with a diffuser but don't really know where to start or what I'm looking at. Would I be alright with a speedlight as opposed to a 6' tall one with the umbrella? At the moment I feel like I'm struggling with reflections/shadows - but I've not broken out the DSLR yet which has polarising filters etc. I've just been using my point and shoot Sony RX100III, which may actually be a better unit than the D7100!

Joking aside, AI...

Stick a photo in chatgpt and ask it to remove backgrounds and other prompts etc.
You can even just say change the background and make this photo look better.
