i crashed our car in feburary, i had too claim, but im wondering.... the insurance was in dads name, he dealt with the claim, but i was driving he cannot remember what he told the insurance company they pretty much took care of it on there own..... have -i- made a claim? or has dad?

What would the rule be on me buying a car for track days (bit of fun once a month or whatever) and getting my father too drive it too track days for me. this would mean that i would not be insured on this car for the roads can i use it on the track??????? any other info on track days welcome...
