Wanted a new 182 but after no luck getting the insurance quote i was willing to pay i went for a mini cooper. Not really what i wanted but will be a good stepping stone until i build up more NCD to afford the insurance for something as quick as the 182. Maybe new cliosport when i come to change...
Has anyone got these for there 1.2 16v? Just saw them for less than £500. Sounds very reasonable. Just wondered if they are any good as they seem to be cheaper than the FK ones.
Can anyone tell me any place where i can get the ms-design cheaper than places like ktr or esp design?
Pretty much decided i am going for the side skirts.
Thanks.
so what is best? 40mm apex or 60mm spax?
My Pi springs are fu**** and i need a new kit. Drive about 250miles a week so want a kit that aint going to scrub my 17" tyres! Would like to go 60mm but really need to know my tyres will not need replacing every 5000miles! What you guys say?

Just about to change my front pads on my 1.2 16v 2001 clio. Can anyone tell me the best way to tackle this. removing the full caliper from the strut or removing the top cover? Any suggestions would be great.

Had this problem with my car for a few weeks. There does not seem to be any obvious evidence where the knocking can be coming from. It started of as a slight noise but has got alot louder. Really only apparent at slower town speeds. This is really puzzling me? Anyone any clues?
Cheers Chris.
Just fitted some 17" Dare V2s. But they have the wrong centre caps. They say HI JON or something. Phoned the company i bought them from and they said they had put the wrong caps on them. I have now found out that they could be Hi Octane wheels. After another phone call i was assured that they...
Just got my car back from the bodyshop. No cheap back hander, and the paint work is rubbish. To start colour not the same, the finish is really dull on my new 172 side strips. The utopia spoiler i bought from k-tec came with the wrong size of screw making it a pain to fit and the paint would...
I put silicone products on my trim to smartin it up a bit. However i have just been round a few coach works and they say they will not garantee the paint will not flack or the simply will not do my colour coding. My only option appears to be to get new trim all round my car (1.2 16v). Not...

My 18000 mile service is due soon. I have heard that some manufacturers require your car to be serviced at a dealer in order to keep your warranty valid. Does any one know if this is true for renault warranties as a service is alot more expensive than one from a normal garage?
CHEERS, CHRIS.
Ordered my s-spec induction kit yesterday:). Should get it by wednesday, but should i get the k-tec relocation kit to suit. Does it make a noticeable difference? Cheers Chris.
Hey! Was down my local scrappies today, geting a vaccum hose for my 1.2 16v. Bought an ecotek, Mince. The noise from it was really pants and as for better mpg!!!! My average mpg on the computer dropped from 46mpg to 30mpg. Something wrong there:(. So i decided to take it off. I botched the hose...
