Nice one!
As well as my 182 that I commute in... I've got an Lotus Elise S1 that I use for evenings and weekends. Love driving both... it's usually only the weather that decides it. :)
Nice lens mate... 'L' as well! I've already got that range covered with my 70-300IS (although it's not in the 'L' league!) so I think the 17-55IS f2.8 lens is next on my list when I have a spare £550ish.
It's only an hour from me and well worth the trip - I'll be going back. Pics were all...
Look forward to seeing the A1 GP pics. This was my first go at motorsport... which is what I got the kit for. Gotta get some practice in before I attempt getting pics at Silverstone for the F1 GP in a couple of months! :)
I drove a 197 yesterday. Seemed slower than my 182... put that down to it being 'tight' as it was new. Handling was great but then I have no complaints about my 182 when I rag it (which is often). Got offered a 0% Finance deal by the Renault dealer.
Then I popped in to a Honda dealer and sat...
That was me on the ring-road! (Reg: L7 J**) You flew by me before I caught you up at the roundabout and waved... I was too busy listening to the annoying tom-tom woman telling me which way to go next as I was about 200miles from home on my way to Bristol city-centre. That 'Liquid Yellow' you...
Great day today... shame about the pics! I must get a better camera than my 3.2Mb Sony Cybershot! ;)
Few celebs in there tho... Jenson Button, Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss and Fisichella. :)

I've had this HU for about 3weeks. Well impressed with it and I have the ipod lead going to the glovebox. No stalk-control adaptor tho... I just havent got round to ordering one yet.
^^^ agreed.
I bought a Tom Tom One a few weeks ago. Works great, no complaints... and no external ariel needed. I've also got the speed-camera database on it from pocketgps. :)
^^ ditto. I have a tomtom-one that I bought 2 days ago and its fine for 2-2.5hrs on the battery which is enough for me most of the time. I think the Tomtom-GO's have a longer battery life tho. I went for the One as, amongst other reasons, it has newer circuitry (which will be used in the whole...
pml I guess he's not an RS Clio owner himself then?!?! I was there one night last week (not sure which night) so if it was last week he saw it it was probably me. :D
I want one and was going to buy a TT 700 or TT One in the next few days. But I did some Googling to find the best one and then found out the new TT Go range is launched sometime in May so I think I'll hang on for that and get the 510 or 910. Its got bluetooth handsfree, bigger screen (4" 16:9)...
lol this guy was doing about 20mph. They deffo stand out tho.. it stood out a mile and looked nothing like a Merc SL. The bonnet seems to be about 1.5 times the length for a start.. and then theres the huge vents just behind the front wheels. :)
I get clunking now on full-lock in forward or reverse, left or right. :( The first few times I heard it in reverse reversing out of a parking space at work I thought I'd hit something/someone behind! I'll mention it at my 36K mile service which should be next month as it seems its a common...
Not an RS Clio I know but a pretty rare sight on the roads! I saw this going the other way along Fairmile Road earlier today and nearly crashed into the car in front as I watched the SLR in my mirrors! :)
