Does anybody know the difference between the UK (Green) and Euro (red) Ecu's
I need a new ecu for my car and got a red one and was told it would work, it starts and runs but does not rev, borrowed a UK green one and every thing is OK.
So my questions are:
Is there a difference in ECU or is...

Problem sorted with several 260km round trips to check the wiring/voltages and pin-outs on the other local car.
Turns out the garage which did the swap put the engine earth terminal onto the alternator fed. Once the offending terminal was removed and earthed to the engine bingo.

They must being a run on t shirts, that's how we figured out something was missing from the rear calipers, and also the fact there was a Marshall waving with a brake pad in his hand.
Thanks for the reply guys, we worked the callipers take stock pads so we got new front and rear pads from the UK.
