Not gonna get into who did it or what tools were used as have had that discussion on here previously. It's been on a dyno and appeared to be down on power, however almost everyone at the dyno that day were pretty much complaining that all their cars appeared to down on power from what they had...
Hello all,
I am wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to have the timing checked on my Clio 172 in Scotland near Glasgow or Edinburgh, and also how much it costs/will cost?
Apologies if this has been covered before, but finding stuff on these forums can be difficult.
The...
Great video, but (probably gonna get tons of hate for this) their driving skills for race drivers were questionable...
Not saying I'm the man at the wheel by a long shot, before anyway says that.
I'm currently playing a game called "Subnautica" on the PC.
It's basically a survival game where you're on a planet which has no land and just water. Have to kill fish to eat and gather resources for an underwater base, tools, submarines and stuff. It's addicting, but quite difficult to begin...
I've just bought a new Cobra bucket seat for my track Clio.
As I'm quite short I would like the seat mounted using the side mounts (so it is higher up). I also have other people occasionally drive my car on track so want the seat to be able to slide (as they are taller than myself).
I can't...
Was considering possibly turbocharging my Clio over the next couple of years but it does seem more bother than it's worth. Would love one but couldn't be bothered with constant repairs to keep it running.
Amazing car, man.
My dad's got a 6 as well (RS, without the AYC), and ever since he bought it when I was younger I've dreamt of having an Evo of my own.
Hopefully will have one within the next year or two.
Love this colour. Very jealous hahaha
I've always found it difficult to get a good end result without at least minimal processing in lightroom (or an equivalent to that).
Are these photos JPEGs straight out of the camera? If so, I highly recommend shooting in raw and using something like RawTherapee (which is free) to process your...
After closer look at ones you posted might not be too bad.
The first one has best CPU which is overclockable but not great graphics card, the 2nd has good CPU but not overclockable and good graphics card, and the third one has not so great CPU and alright graphics card.
Personally number 2...
To be honest they're all running graphics cards which are pretty old. My personal recommendation would be to build a PC.
It really isn't difficult in the slightest and you'll get a far more up to date system, with brand new parts for a good price.
And you can say you've built it yourself :)
I was really looking forward to this game, but the Beta was a big disappointment imo.
The motion blur when turning the camera made me feel physically sick and I had to turn it off.
A shame really because after being a massive player of the earlier ones on the original Xbox I genuinely wanted...
Thought I'd replied to you guys, apologies!
Made an executive decision hahaha... The iceberg is going on track. Really like the flame red colour after viewing multiple threads on here about them! (@Djw John 's being one).
Thanks for advice and thoughts on it.
Awesome car man! Just bought a flamer to turn into a track car since I didn't want to track my iceberg, but love it now, so looks like flamer is going on the road and iceberg for track!
Also just wanted to say - I paid just over £800 for insurance on my iceberg at 19 with 0 ncb.
This has thrown me off my plans!
I think you are both probably right though.
Only thing that puts me off that though, is the fact the flamer has such high owners compared to my iceberg.
Will have a think...
Thanks a lot man! Exactly what I'm looking for!
Yeah, no problem man.
It's actually guide for a 182, but as far as I know it's pretty much exactly the same.

Edit: found a guide with all the tools needed listed on it, so know what to get.
Does anyone know if you can still get the tools direct from renault? Or do I have to wait until someone is selling them...
@Fergie606 Yeah, sure thing!
These are the pics off the advert I got the car from (I haven't had time to take many yet).
Bodywork is surprisingly good, but wheels aren't the best condition.
As above, I just bought a new Clio 172 (2nd Clio) to turn into dedicated track car. It needs the cambelt, dephaser, aux done, and I am planning on putting some 438 cat cams in it also.
Before anyone says, I completely understand the difficulty of doing the cambelt, but this isn't going to be a...
Thanks for replies.
Will have a think, as slowly beginning to really like flame red. Might just stick the iceberg on the track...
Any idea which is worth more? I know there's many factors, but from mileage, owners, etc. which I posted above.
