Nah the 04 wasn't me, I've got a private plate FAZ****.
We're actually camping at brockenhurst & went to Bournemouth for the day. Been here since Sunday, going back Thursday. Weather's not been that bad, just a bit crappy Wednesday. It's really nice down here in the new forest, but the beer's...
I'm at work at the moment and waiting for my dad to get back to me about what he used on it last night. It wasn't wet & dry, but it was a very slightly abrasive paste. But we could see the more he used it the more harm it did to the paintwork and appeared to make the whole thing worse.
Tried...
Found a spatter of it on my back bumper Saturday morning, cleaned it off last night, and it's now left an irremovable mark. Tried polish, very light abrasive stuff my dad had. All to no effect.
Can't think of anything else to use, so it's looking like a respray.
Add to that, the fact...
I had mine plugged in about a month ago and a fault on the primary lambda sensor was all that came up. I've since had some brembo discs & ferodo pads fitted, which the offside one squeeks, so don't if that'll have anything to do with the abs light coming on, triggering the others. I'm not really...
I was going to do a search too but thought I'd just get results where the lights would come on individually, not all at once. Maybe a trip to the garage in the morning. It's only just been in for primary lamda sensor when engine management light came on. 04 plate, 37k.
That lot is just an insane level of detailing.
I just dont have the disposable cash to throw at something like that.
Zymol shampoo, AG leather, the Meguiars 3 stage system with meg's applicators and some 100% cotton cloths... and a bucket are all I can afford to use :(
Oh, and AG bumper care...
On the subject of seats, does anyone know the best place to get a pair Recaros, preferably to work with existing seatbelts, for when my seats get to a point where they are just shot.
A few weeks ago my girlfriend had just passed her test (she's 27!) so I was looking for her first car. Was at this car place in just outside Sheffield and they had 2 182's in, so I had a peer inside, just being nosey, and the state of the steering wheels was shocking. Grooves, gouges, the thumb...
Had my 04 182 from new, 37k on the clock, and the suede where I park my behind is bobbling quite badly. I tried to give it the sharp razor treatment and 'shave' the bobbles off, but it didn't work. The leather and stitching is fine though. A tad creased where I swing my leg to get out.
They...
I stumbled upon this thread while searching for some detailing advice. I'm a bit of a relative novice when it comes to serious detailing. I've just stuck with Autoglym SRP all my motoring life.
With the nice weather coming up this week, I'm about to embark on a lengthy session minting the car...
Mine came on this morning, so did a search on here and came to this thread.
It isn't flashing though. Only had the 36k service a month ago, so going to take it to the Renault specialist in Sheffield (not a dealer) who serviced it, asap.
Here you go mate. Says Rotherham, but it's just off Tinsley.

1st time I've used them, as I'm stick to death of Gordon Lamb. They did a good job.
He's got a mint Megane 230 parked...
I've just had my 36k service at a Reno Specialists in Sheffield, and they said I've only 20% left, and I need discs and pads, as the discs are corroded.
Would the recommendations in this thread all fit standard wheel and suspension setup, which I have on my 182, because the bloke where I had my...
I go to The Source Gym Tue/Wed/Thur, and park in the ground level open air end bits of Meadowhall car park Debenhams side, and then run across the ring road.
Mine's got a private plate btw, in case you have seen me.
I don't live far from Aston either, A couple of miles away near Crystal Peaks.
