Hi, i've been looking at a lot of projects and was just wondering..
what makes a Clio 182 the "cup" or a "full fat" version? What extra spec etc.?
Dion
I would plan to do the work between myself and my brother, so that isn't such a hard job as i first though, parts seem quite expensive but, once its done i can rest assured for a while!
Any other common faults? Exhaust hangers etc. and the dogbone are the only things i've heard about regularly...
Cheers Jack, i suspect its the ARB or the Topmount or something similar. I'm competent with tools etc. so i can fit whatever it is when i find out.
And Archtronics, to be totally honest i'm not planning on modifying the car at all. Theres a few bits i'd like to tidy up if I end up buying it...
I'm not too sure yet, Will have to give my insurance a ring on Monday morning to sort out a quote.
Just seen the car, taken it for a drive etc. Fairly happy with it, Goes well and it has a full milltek which is a bonus i guess.
Although, it has a slight knocking noise when going over...
Thanks! What sort of price am i looking at paying for insurance? As i'm currently driving about with a PD 130 sport Passat.
Going to see the Clio later on, i'll let you know how it goes.

Hi i'm Dion from North Wales.
I'm thinking of buying a BG 182 54 Reg, never owned a Clio before so what are the main things to look out for?
Going to see one this afternoon.
And also what are the best insurance companies for a 22 year old with 5 years no claims and clean license?
Thanks,
Dion
